“Amayen is many things to many people,” says Miguel Kirjon, founder of the new Amayen Sanctuary in remote northern Thailand. “It’s a place where people can go for stillness, listen to their inner voice, seek answers, and find a new perspective on their life’s goals.” Founded in early 2018, Amayen is located 35 kilometres away from the cultural centre of Chiang Mai, in a little valley on the way to Chiang Rai, the kingdom’s northernmost city.
